Here is another simple and easy way to get your greens into your guts, other than the sweet, sweet smoothies that we so often focus on.
This is a basic idea. You can play with your own flavours to come up with a mix you love.
Time: 2 minutes
- Half an onion (if you're scared of onion breath, miss this step).
- A clove of garlic (ditto as with the onion).
- Three tomatoes.
- A handful of rocket.
- Half an avocado.
- A handful of basil.
- A pinch of salt and pepper.
- As much water as you need.
- A sprinkle of smoked paprika.
Put all of the ingredients except for the water and blend for a full minute. Add as much water as you need to make it the consistency you like. Top with a sprinkle of smoked paprika.
Serve with crackers or just sip like soup. x
